Everything I do seems wrong

It's been this way for so long.

I need to get away, find my own little place and stay.

Just lay around in bed and cry,

thinking and trying to find out why

I always get so upset

and seem to always regret every little thing I say

and every look that goes your way.

I don't know why I do what I do.

I don't mean it when I say I hate you.

Why can't I stop?

Why can't I let it drop?

I don't mean to be such a nightmare.

Though I say I don't, I really do care.

There is one thing I really don't see:

why you still put up with me.

You say it is because you love me

or maybe it's because you're Mom.
